We offer nightly horse lodging for trail riding in the Great Smoky Mountains area or a 24-hour service if your plans exclude your horses for the day at Head of the Creek Enterprises in Swain County, North Carolina.

Some of the best trail riding in the country is available in the Great Smoky Mountains

Take your horse on vacation! Trailer to beautiful Western North Carolina.
National Park or on Swain County's National Forest Land just a short distance from the our farm. Stable your horse at the Head of the Creek in a new 10-stall barn. Rates are $20/night/horse if you provide the feed, and $25/night/horse if we provide feed. Stall cleanings are included. PLEASE, NO STALLIONS!

Proof of current Coggins is required at check-in. Your horses will receive the best of care by an experienced horseman while you enjoy other activities on the farm, or at the numerous area attractions.

We also have trails for your enjoyment located on our farm at the Head of the Creek. These trails provide beautiful views and mountain streams that are hard to find this day and time. Guided trail rides are available by reservation only.
